First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day of internship, as I entered the office, I was asked to wait at the Reception. I had to wait for around 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, I was given an entry card, and I entered the working area. I was asked to fill a form and sign an undertaking.
There were only 2 computers for interns, and there were already 3 – 4 students interning, so I was asked to get my laptop from next day. There weren’t many associates. That day I was asked to read The Negotiable Instruments Act and make write a summary over it.
Main tasks
The only task was Research. In the 4 weeks of my internship there, I was asked to research on various topics regarding Banking laws, Company laws and also make presentation and Research Note on few.
Work environment and people
The work environment is comfortable. The associates are very friendly. The first two weeks I had a lot of work, I was loaded with research work, however from the 3rd week, as more and more interns joined, There was like limited work for me. There were around 12-15 interns in total and there was less work.
Best things
The best thing was that they gave Free Lunch! And the lunch was good. They also had a different sweet dish for each day. Lunch time would be the fun time! 😀
Bad things
Well, the bad thing was that there were way too many interns.

Biggest Lessons
I improved on my researching skills. Also, that whatever work we are assigned, it should be done diligently and we should not just do it for the sake of it, but also learn as to whatever it is about.
