Mr. Satyajeet Desai is a senior advocate at the Gujarat High Court and the revising author of Mulla on Hindu Law and his grandfather’s famed book, S. T. Desai on Partnership. He is also a visiting lecturer at Gujarat University and Ahmedabad University.

First Day Formalities and Initial Impressions
I met Mr. Desai at his High Court chambers where I was introduced to the staff and updated on the ongoing matters. We later had a discussion on the Indian legal system and sir’s contribution to the recent law commission report on the Uniform Civil Code.
Sir comes across as a person well versed not only with the law but also the nuances of court craft and welcomes any teaching opportunity to young students.
