First Day Formalities, Infrastructure and First Impression
On the very first day, I was much keen to visit the institute as I have already heard so much about this prestigious institute but I have control on my nerve too because I had already interned with the Hon’ble Justice of Allahabad High Court.
I entered into the institute, I was made to pay a visit in the administrative departments for the formalities where I was made to do the paperwork such as I have to fill up the Bonafide Certificate and Recommendation Letter of the College.
Main Tasks
My main task was related to Criminal Laws and Constituional Laws
Working environment and procedure: Various different topics were by Dr. Anurag Deep. I was assigned various topics of Constitution Law, Criminal Law, etc. and I had to submit the work through the mail.
We met our professor daily and kept him updated about the same. I was made to make case notes on cases pertaining to Privacy and Sedition. Other works involved proofreading, researching the answers for the random questions asked by Dr. Anurag Deep.
Good Things
Sir was always ready to answer our queries. Sir arranged a Supreme Court visit for me.
Bad Thing
There was nothing bad at all but you have to make your own arrangements for the food and accommodation, nothing is going to provide to you by the Institute.
Stipend
No Stipend
Accommodation
You have to look after on your own if you are the residence of out of Delhi. You can get the PG or Hostel for a month at nominal rates.
At last day I was given a recommendation letter by Hon’ble Justice D.Y. Chandrachud for being the best performing interns overall it was a great learning experience for me.
Note: This internship experience was first published on 5th November 2019.
