Duration of internship and timings
I had interned for 17 days and as I want to be a litigator, I chose to go to the court.
The court timings were from 10:30 to 5. And then I was assigned a research topic by my senior so I used to be in office from 5:30 to 7:30.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day I had to report myself to their chambers at The HC of Gujarat and then I was told to sit and observe the proceedings and the formalities in the CJI courtroom No. 1. Then in the evening I used to go to the office.
Main tasks
As I had completed my first year I was not acquainted with much laws so I was given a research topic which I had to submit at the end of my internship, moreover I learn a lot while sitting and observing proceedings in the court.
Work environment and people
Work environment was very good.
I was blessed with a good library which enabled me to research more and more. People around were very helpful.
Best things
Even if your sir is busy you can move to his cabin and ask as many doubts you want.
Bad things
There were no bad things as such. In fact I loved my work
