First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The office isn’t huge. It operates in one floor of Toshali Bhawan and is fully air conditioned.

The first day isn’t hectic. It’s just a introduction to the working of the organisation.

Main tasks

Main task for the interns is to study the case files and attend court hearing of the respective cases.

The court hearing is followed by a interaction session between the students and the judge.

Work environment and people

Work environment is friendly and people working there are willing to help.

Best things

Best thing apart from the legal knowledge is the open wi-fi.

Bad things

Bad thing I would say is that there’s no canteen.

Stipend

No stipend.

Biggest Lessons

Apart from the knowledge of law and the biggest lesson to be learnt from ohrc is the way one needs to mould himself as a human being and also protect the rights of others.
