Application Process

 K & S has an application form at its website. Fill it 5-6 months before the preferred dates. You will get a reply within 1-2 weeks after filling in the form.

Duration of internship and timings

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the first day, I was given a form & was asked to wait in the library. K&S has a policy to assign each intern a mentor under whom he/she has to work therefore I was also assigned the same. I was first asked to do quick recap of Trademarks Act. Later, I was given a proposition to research upon.

Main tasks

My mentor dealt in Trademarks so all my work was related to Trademarks only. It included research, proof reading, drafting, reviewing etc.

Work environment and people

The office & the people were very helpful. It was one of the best internships I had in my Law School life.

Best things

The office timings were the best things. Further, the firm don’t expect that an intern would know everything. They believe in the concept of making them learn while doing.
