Duration of internship and timings

I did my internship for 20 days.The interns were asked to come at 9:00 am and go back by 3:00 pm.

The interns can also come at 6:00 pm and work till 9:00 pm.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First impression was good as he is very experienced high court advocate with age approx 72 years.

There are juniors who work under him.

There were many interns who had completed their LLB and were practicing under him.Infrastructure is good.

Main tasks

Main task was to help out my juniors and read files and help them to know the synopsis of the case. Sometimes did drafting.

When no task was allotted used to see my advocate working and his advocacy skills.

Sometimes used to go to High Court to see the advocates hearing.

Work environment and people

Work environment was good. Everyone was very cooperative and helped me out whenever I had doubt.

Best things

The best experience was when I saw my advocate in court.

The way he used to defend the other side was incredible and when he thought me small bit of things also impressed me.

Bad things

Sometimes there was no work but still he used to make me sit.

In career of law you will have to do a lot more struggle and keep practicing what you learn.
