First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
As I was the only intern assisting him in the court, I reported at Punjab and Haryana High court on the first day & he introduced his co-counsels in the court and asked to directly move to court room for case briefing.
It was very impressive to notice him arguments in the various courts. His corporate office was situated in Panchkula, where after the court proceeding, we went for the case analysis.
Main tasks
1. To assists him during proceedings.
2. To research the key judgement regarding issues.
3. To prepare notes regarding the daily orders.
Work environment and people
Very friendly work environment. Got to know many prominent lawyers along with him & used to share lunch with them.
Best things
Learning through formal and informal way. Mohit Sir’s exquisite points regarding Legal intricacies and practical knowledge about the court proceedings were the greatest asset of internship.

There is no shortcut to success. You have to gain knowledge to rule the court.

From informal perspective, One of the best thing about Punjab & Haryana High Court is ‘Hot Jalebis’ available at Bar Canteen 😀
