Ongoing internship. I am a para-legal intern who has been interning for the past 6 months.

Accommodation: how, where, how was it?

One can enroll himself in the YMCA which has reasonably good accommodation. Sewa Niketan is another alternative.

They provide good rooms at cheap prices. Both are close by the Oasis Counsel and Advisory office.

Main tasks

Most of the work is research based mainly on tasks such as Electricity Law, Maritime Law and Environment Law.

I mainly assist the associates in their research.

Work environment, people

It has been an amazing experience till the present. The work culture is competitive but friendly and I have gotten an opportunity to learn many aspects of the law which I otherwise would not have learnt in law school.

Moreover, Mr. Haresh Jagtiani, who is a Senior Counsel of the Bombay High Court and the managing partner at OC&A is a fatherly figure who is always ready to help and guide the interns.

Best things?

The nature of the work, the amazing work culture and the care taken by Mr. Jagtiani for his interns. All the associates at Oasis treat the interns as one of their own.

Interning at OC&A is a must have experience for every law student!
