Application Process

The concerned authority, who is the under secretary, G.B Ravichandran as of now will then contact you via e-mail.
They generally select students on the first come first preference. So applicants are directed to apply a bit earlier.
Duration of internship and timings
The internship period is of 21 days. 5 days in a week i.e. from Mon to Fri. The timings are 10 AM to 5 PM. First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure Try to be in formals the first day, don’t forget to give your attendance. You will be given NALSA bare act to read and do the work assigned to you.
Main tasks
The main tasks mainly includes the reviewing of legal aid petitions and the other work assigned to you.
Work environment and people
The environment is quiet amicable and the under secretary is very helpful. The staff is always their for you.
Best things
You get exposure to all those things which a law student dreams of before becoming a lawyer, like visit to Tihar Jail, Supreme Court, Juvenile Justice Board, Mediation Center, Parliament.
You will get a chance to meet some great dignitaries. I personally met Salman Khurshid and got chance to hear Ravishanker Prasad. The bhaiya is available all the time to provide you with tea.
Bad things
Its only good for 1st and 2nd years. Khan Market is near to hang out but that is some what costly so all interns could not afford it.
Stipend
No Stipend.
Biggest Lessons
I was very much motivated by this internship. Coming and going you can easily see some cabinet ministers which motivated me a lot.
Discipline is something which I learnt from there.
Any Other Thing
I and my co-interns used to spend time by going to India Gate which is just 200 m from the office.
