Duration of internship and timings
Internship timing matches with the consecutive timing of court,that is from morning 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
It was an internship full of knowledgeable and career oriented enthusiastic works. We get a lot of chance to learn practical happenings in the court and at the chamber.
First day is full of introductory speeches and learning of a lot of new legal things and furnishing ones skills as a first year law student.
Main tasks
The main Task was to:-
1. Research work- To know and understand the mind set up for arguing in a case and find a lot of equivalent citations.
2. Making, learning and drafting of petitions.
3. Writing different types of letters.
4. Interpretation of the case and law in different situation.
Work environment and people
A lot of discussion on Law and Social topics together help one to understand better and better.
The work environment is very friendly people help you a lot to learn new things.
Best things
Making every one self-sufficient in doing the tasks assigned. It helps a lot in building one’s confidence.
Bad things
Of course a district court is a crowded place hence to concentrate on the work is difficult, but that depends on personal ability.
