Duration of internship and timings

I interned during summer break from 15 May – 11 June 2013. Office timing are High Court hours.

One need to reach office before 10:30 and can leave around 4 pm unless there is discussion scheduled on that day

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First impression, when I reached his chamber in High Court, and met sir, it was a splendid feeling. As sir is a very respected man, head of Babri Masjid Action Committee and additional Advocate general.

First Day formalities: One need to submit his photograph, college office recommendation letter and personal details, so that High Court entry pass can be issued.

Infrastructure: its the government Advocate General Chamber. So it was good from inside.

Main tasks

Main Task was attending courts and create a summary of proceeding that were going on.

Sometimes files were given to read and opinion need to be drafted.

Work environment and people

There were 5 people. Sir, 3 Junior advocates under him and a secretary. Work environment was good.

Best things

Best Thing was sir explained things very well if anyone has any doubt. he has great in-depth knowledge. Plus whenever he argued, everyone in court applauded him.

Once a judge even stated ” to meet you, we need to get a case in our court”

Bad things

Bad thing, interns were not given research work.

Stipend

Nope.
