First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The Office was situated at the residence of Jayashree Mam only. It was big enough that A good amount of people can come together and have a meeting. When we reached there we were asked to fill the form and then regular discussion took place.
We were introduced to the team and workings of Consumer India. Everybody associated to the team was Very helpful and kind During the whole period of internship.
Main tasks
Main task were related to Consumer protection only. We were asked to visit various places and make case studies on our experiences of the same. There were two kinds of work allotted to us, One individual and other is Group assignment.
Work environment and people
The work environment was strict enough as the one who didn’t submit the assignment on time was considered as dropout and no certificate would be given to him. The team was friendly and helping though. Consideration was given if it seem to be Genuine.
Best things
Best thing was the work Environment in which we worked in these 3 weeks. Enough work was given to us to keep us busy all the time. Field and practical work was one of the best part which helped me learning a lot of things.
Bad things
There were no bad thing as such. One who is interested in working from the home can join this internship but work is to be done on time. No relaxation in that.
Stipend
No Stipend.
Biggest Lessons
Filing RTIs , Working of Consumer Court, Complaining about misleading Ads and various other tasks were completed during this period which helped me gaining information which i was not even aware of before.
Any Other Thing
Admission fee was Rs. 1000.

Accommodation
As I chose to be an Outstation Intern, I was allowed to complete and submit my assignments from home directly.
But PG’s are easily available for the one who want to stay for a month or so. Also Guest house are available, that one can opt who come for attending Induction only.
Office Timings
There were no office timings as such. Most of the work had to be done by the students at their place only. Meetings were held once in a week and Interns were managed and given their work through the regular emails.
