Duration of internship and timings
10th June, 2013 – 10th July, 2013
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
It was an amazing experience when I reached the office of Mr. Akhil Modi. When I reached there I was directed to meet Mr. Modi with whom I had a short formal introduction. He asked me about my past internships and what are my plans in the future.
I was asked to meet the other associates in the office who assigned me the work for the first day.
Main tasks
We were supposed to mark exhibits in the files, mark evidences and also to arrange the files in the order (in the whole internship I had arranged 700 – 800 files).
Arbitration work was major at the office so we were asked to find out case laws, draft petitions and to perform other works related to the arbitration.
Work environment and people
The work environment of the office was very friendly and supportive. All the associates at the office used to treat us in a very good manner and always tried to solve all the queries and doubts that we have in the cases.
Best things
The best thing of this internship was that we got a chance to learn the nuances of the arbitration law from the grass root level. Every day on the internship the associates used to teach us the arbitration law.
Bad things
I found no bad experience in this internship.

Biggest Lessons
The biggest lesson from this internship was that until and unless your base is clear, you cannot achieve the heights in your life. For reaching the top of success you need to start from the grass root level.
