I got the internship through a family friend’s reference.
Duration of internship and timings
4 weeks, November – December 2013
Timings: 9 am – 5 pm

Mr. Praveen’s chamber is in the RK Garg Block at the Supreme Court of India.
My internship started on a Monday and since interns aren’t allowed in the court on Mondays or Fridays, so I was free by 12.
I was given a reference letter by his clerk for the court pass for the internship.
Main tasks
Since I was in the second year, so there was no actual work that was given to me.
Sir would give me case files to read and ask my opinions on the matters that were listed for the next day.
He explained to me the hierarchy and the functioning of the Courts. Attending the proceedings was mainly what I did.
Work environment and people
Sir was pretty chilled and his associates were the same.
Best things
The fact that there was no issue if you wanted to go home early or go out for lunch.
Bad things
No substantial work.
