In Internship experience of the Lawctopus site somebody has mentioned in regarding to working with PUCL, the reviews and research I applied to their main site.

Mr. Pancholi head of the branch send the confirmation letter of joining the authorities.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Not much formalities were there as on the first day. They collected Rs. 1000. Receptionist Ms. Babita, which informed what would be my duties and all the formalities, like address and where I am staying were asked.

I was told that merely it would be field duties I would be allowed to visit court and all the help would be provided to me by the authorities for my research work.

Main tasks

Babita mam send me the mail about all the work I have to accomplish.

It mainly comprise of making one research paper, report, visiting JANTAR MANTAR and most importantly making report for the seminars.

Work environment and people

Work environment was good as Pancholi sir and Babita mam were very cooperative.

Through attending seminar I was able to make contacts in High court.

My report was selected and got published in PUCL Bulletin. Overall great experience.

Best things

Great exposure and learning experience from the authorities. Learned how to work in group and contribute in the team effort.

Bad things

Infrastructure wise it need to improve otherwise it was a great internship.

Biggest Lessons

To learn something in life we should always remain calm and lesson carefully as each word carries its own importance.

Accommodation

I stayed with my relatives but in nearby PG are available.

Office Timings

Mainly it was field work so not much problem was there for the timings. Office opens at around 11 am.
