Association of Indian Law Institute Alumni (AILIA) in association with Indian Law Institute, New Delhi is conducting webinar Series on “COVID and Law”. The Indian Law Institute is the premier legal research Institution founded in 1956 with the objective to promote advanced legal studies and research in law.

About the webinar

As Alumni Association of ILI, to carry forward the legacy that ILI has imparted us, i.e. promotion of quality socio-legal research. To execute this objective, AILIA & ILI initiated this webinar series on COVID and law to discuss and deliberate on relevant socio-economic issues through the prism of law during this pandemic time.

Details of the webinar

AILIA chose to have a Webinar on the topic of Domestic Violence during Lockdown: An invisible Pandemic? To deliberate on the efficacious measures to prevent domestic abuse and protect such victims within the restrained living conditions.

AILIA is fortunate and privileged to have prominent speakers i.e Hon’ble Justice Ms. Hima Kohli, Judge Delhi High Court, & Executive Chairperson of Delhi Legal Services Authority and Smt. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, National Commission for Women, who have vast experiences in their specific areas to deliberate on our topic for discussion today. The
Moderator for the session is Dr. P. Puneeth, Associate Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.

About the call for papers

AILIA-ILI is inviting original and high-quality research papers for an upcoming book ‘Covid 19 and the Law’ as a research outcome of this Webinar Series. Selected Best papers will be published in the book.

Format: Font 12, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing, up to 5000 words &  ILI footnoting format.
