Duration of Internship and timings

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

You are supposed to report sharply at 9, obviously in formals.

You will get a pad and a pen and an attendance card will be made in your name which you need to punch daily in the machine.

Main tasks

Tasks were basically related to research on the ongoing cases.

Cases were to be found out on a certain topic and you need to brief the associates regarding the facts of those cases.

I was also sent to Patent Office to get some information.

I also prepared a flowchart of the criminal trial process.

Work environment and people

Very good work environment, the associates were very helpful and generous.

They gave the work on the basis of one’s preference.

Best things

The fact that you have to sit for a minimum period of 10 hours without your mobile is one thing I will appreciate most.

Bad things

There were around 15 interns at that time, so most of the time, I was idle.

Moreover you are not allowed to go out in the 10 hrs time, even for lunch.

Stipend

Rs. 10,000

Biggest Lessons

Hard work along with dedication is the one and only way to survive in the legal field.

Life is very tough and internship at Titus grooms you for that.

Accommodation

I stayed at my home.
