First impression, First day formalities, Infrastructure
For maintaining a good impression you must reach by 10 am at the high court, otherwise a big lecture awaits for you by the senior lawyer.
You must be in proper formals i.e white and black.
After the high court I was supposed to report in the office.
The office is very big with very good infrastructure in South Ex.
Their are four big chambers for the partners and cubicles for the other lawyers working their.
Main Tasks
The main task was to read the cases carefully and preparing a report on them with other research work given to us by the senior lawyers, e.g finding related case laws.
After which a huge list of questions was ready with them to throw on us to see if we have completed our work sincerely or not.
Also, at the court we were supposed to listen to the arguments carefully and make notes of them.
Work environment, People
The environment was really good with friendly people working around who helped me whenever I asked.
Their is a huge library at the office so we can get any book for reference whenever needed.
Best Things
The best thing was that I was also treated as a part of their team and was given real work and a cubicle of my own to work in.
Bad Things
The bad thing was they wanted absolute discipline and punctuality. Coming late or delay in work was not acceptable.

The biggest lesson was that I learnt being punctual and had a very close experience of the legal world.
