I was made to fill a form after which I was asked about my area of interest. But the work won’t restrict to that. There will be a variety of work, whatever comes your way

Work environment and people
The deadlines are relaxed hence there is no work pressure. The seniors focus on teaching and make sure that we’ve learnt something new at the end of the day.
They are very helpful and explain even the smallest of small things. However they do not spoon-feed.
Best things
During lunch all the interns and associates would sit together.
Apart from that there used to be short 15 minute breaks to break the monotony of working.
Also they’d give you work whenever asked. There was not a single time when the associates/Partners did not have work for the interns.
Proximity to the Bombay HC gives you an access to the courts so you can go watch a high profile counsel like Harish Salve arguing too.
Bad things
At times the work used to get monotonous.
Also those really interested in visiting the courts have to push for it.

Biggest Lessons
The biggest lessons were that work is your priority.
I developed my research and analytical skills.
Also observing the counsels / senior counsels in Court gives a perspective.
