Kerala Law Academy also referred to as Kerala Law Academy Law College is a private law college in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Founded in 1967, it is the first and was for many years the only, private law institution in the state. It is accredited by the Bar Council of India.
About the Seminar
Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (CALSAR) in association with Kerala Law Academy Law College is organizing a Two Day International Seminar on “Violence and Atrocities against Child and Human Right Infringement: Problems and Perspectives” to be held on 28th and 29th February 2020 at Seminar Hall, CALSAR, 3rd Floor, CALSAR Heather Tower, Punnen Road, Statue, Trivandrum, Kerala.
Prof. Dr. ROZA PATI, a tenured Professor of Law at St. Thomas University School of Law, Florida has agreed to be the chief guest of the seminar.

Call for Papers
They are calling for Research Articles from Faculty, Research Scholars, Post Graduate and Under Graduate Students of various colleges. Selected peer-reviewed papers will be published in the Academy Law Review with an ISSN Number and all the other Research Articles would be published in a Proceedings form with an ISBN number.

- International Perspective of Child Rights.
- Indian Constitution and Rights of Child.
- Right to Education: A Basic Human Right of Child.
- Health Right Issues of Child and Female Genital Mutilation.
- Atrocities against Child and Child in Conflict with Law.
- Broken Family and Rights of Child under Family Law.
Guidelines for Paper Submission
- Word limit: Abstract 500 words, Full paper should be limited within 2500 words.
- Font Size: Heading 14, Text 12, Font- Times News Roman, Spacing 1.5, Margin 1”
- All references to be mentioned in a footnote. Footnote shall be in The Harvard Bluebook Uniform
- System of Citation, 20th Edition.
- The paper should also contain the Name, Designation, e-mail id, phone number and postal address of the paper presenter.
- Co-authorship is allowable but limited to two co-authors only.
- Paper to be submitted in word file to calsartvmseminars@gmail.com

- Submission of Full Paper: 20th January 2020
- Acceptance of Full Paper: 25th January 2020
- Last Date of Payment of Fees: 31st January 2020
Registration Fees
- Under Graduate students and Post Graduate students: Rs. 1,500/-
- Research Scholars: Rs. 2,000/-
- Faculty members and others: Rs. 2,500/-
The fee should be paid online. Account details will be mailed after accepting the paper. In the case of co-authors, each author should pay the full amount separately.
