Duration of Internship and timings
April 28, 2015 – May 1, 2015
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First impression of the place was that of a perfect corporates setup where there were so many people working seriously and had small cabins.
There were lot of books there and each desk was pilled up with files of cases.
Main tasks
As that time I was in 1st year hence drafting work, understanding the concepts of various contracts, going to the court and observe it’s functioning, all these tasks were given to me.
Work environment and people
Work environment was a relaxed one. People shared a friendly bong and remained in good Mood but all the deadlines were met on time by them.
This impressed me a lot that a pretty relaxed environment but work was all done.
Best things
The staff was friendly and understanding. They helped me and gave their time to make me understand certain concepts.
Location of the office is cherry on top. As Reliance is a big company with so many subsidiaries hence it had variety of cases. From big to some very petty one. Some involved fabric so some involved milk.
Bad things
As I interned in the month of April so the courts were having holidays so couldn’t get to see more court cases.
Stipend
No stipend
Biggest Lessons
There is no turning back from hard work. If you want to be a part of a big organisation like Reliance then you have to be ready for more work too.
Good, friendly and healthy work place helps you to work better and you willingly come to the office.
Having a good boss is important. Even if he is lenient then also you should complete your tasks to prove him right.
Accommodation
Stayed at my residence.
Office Timings
9 AM to 5 PM
Sometimes it fluctuated if we had to visit a court or meet a client.
