Application Procedure
I obtained this internship through a partner, however, the application process which the firm closely monitors is through its email id i.e. internship.delhi@phoenixlegal.in
Stipend
Rs. 5000 for one month as per the policy.
Work
The firm is divided into the litigation team, the tax team, and the corporate team. I mostly got work from the corporate team.
The associates are friendly and approachable. I usually didn’t have to ask for any work to be assigned since the whole day interns are constantly called up for work by different associates and sometimes partners.
They ensure that you don’t work for more than one associate at a time and give sufficient time for completion of one assignment.
The work is usually research oriented and sometimes clerical. Since the number of interns was quite a few the workload on one of us was never much.
In order to learn more about the internship I would recommend choosing a team and just working for them so that area of work is not too scattered.
We would eat lunch, either bring our own or order it, in the pantry which is well equipped and the kitchen staff there is always very helpful.
Work Environment
The work environment is professional without being strict. It was a great experience working at the firm.
