CfP: NUSRL’s Seminar on Sports and IPR [April 26, Ranchi, Jharkhand]: Submit by April 14 [Extended]

About the Institute AND Seminar

Situated in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, NUSRL was established to develop a holistic perspective of legal education in all its manifestations, particularly advocacy, judicial and legal institutional services, legislation, law reforms and research in allied areas.

This year WIPO has announced the Theme for World Intellectual Property Day as: “Reach for Gold: IP and Sports”.

The theme helps in taking a closer look into the interplay between sports and IPR. Center for Study and Research in Intellectual Property Rights (CSRIPR) is one of the research center established under the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi.

The main objective of the center is to provide information, training and education to the interested parties about the acquisition, administration, valuation and management of Intellectual Property of Jharkhand.

With this background, CSRIPR is proud to announce that Celebration of World IP Day (26th April) every year has become a convention and organizing a workshop/seminar/symposium upon a theme relevant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) theme has become a custom.

In continuation, CSRIPR is coming up with the Seminar ‘SPORTS & IPR’ on 26th April 2019 (Friday).

Guidelines for Submission of papers

Abstract of a minimum of 250 words is called for the seminar on the sub-themes as put above.

Any student, researcher, academician, professional can participate. Revised full paper are to be submitted and received before the presentation and discussion in the seminar for publication.

The Manuscripts must be e-mailed to csripr[at]nusrlranchi.ac.in.

Important Dates

• Submission of Abstract: 14th April 2019
• Submission of Full Paper: 20th April 2019

REGISTRATION FEE to be paid after the selection of abstract:

• For Academicians and Professionals: Rs.1,000/-
• For Students: Rs. 500/-
