As all normal internship processes, I had sent my CV and cover letter, where I got a reply from the HR dept of ICICI.
Duration of Internship and timings
June 2012 to July 2013, 9 am to 6 pm
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day, I was introduced to all the other associates and co-interns and the office was shown around. Rules and Regulations were told. I was provided with a separate working desk and computer along with hot coffee
Main tasks
- Drafted 138 notices for recovery
- Assisted in filling OA for the recovery of NPA
- Studied Strategies applied in turmoil situations for recovering NPA
- Participated in NPA settlement conference
- Processed 10+ RTI applications
Work environment and people
The people are extremely friendly and approachable and always willing to clarify doubts, they also express their appreciation and encourage you for work done.
They were very cordial and at the same time made me realise the importance of finishing work on time.
Best things
The best thing about the internship is it’s a very professional environment where one can learn a lot if they are willing to accept the responsibility given. Also an unlimited supply of Nescafé coffee.
Bad things
The high traffic in Delhi during work hours to reach the office on time.

I learnt professionalism as a corporate lawyer. I was inspired to love the work and work with a whole lot of enthusiasm.
