Timings: 10 am to 5 pm

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First of all, I went to Mr. Siddharth Mohanty sir’s chamber under whom I was interning. There was a brief conversation about the subjects covered since 2^nd semester and he also questioned me from those subjects. He asked my area of interest according to which I was assigned with articles writing work.

The infrastructure is quite good, there 2-3 separate room for the interns.

Main tasks

I wrote 4-5 articles related to the current issues such as GST under the guidance of Mr. Siddhart Mohanty. There was 7-8 co-interns with me and on every Saturday of the month there was a presentation class where 2-3 people would present as per the topics assigned to them. I along with my co-intern presented on the Agent Principal relationship.

The articles that I wrote were posted on the firm’s medium page. On a daily basis, Sir would always keep a  track of the assignments assigned to me and whenever I faced any problem, he helped me out.

The work involved mainly research, writing, and presentation on current sociological and legal issues.

Work Environment and People

The work environment was very friendly. There were 2 other associates who were also very friendly. Whenever I faced any problem in transportation or working hours or food, they helped us.

Also on Saturdays Mr. Sujeet Kumar (the founder of Lex Mantra) used to come and teach the interns on several topics.

Good things

It was a friendly environment and a lot can be learned if one is seriously focusing on the work that was allotted.

There was no such bad things.

I stayed in my college hostel and it was 4 km away from my hostel.

Biggest Lessons

Patience and seriousness can come up with a lot of fruitful results.
