First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First Impression: On the first day of my office, I reported at 10am, met the staff at the firm, they were very humble and welcoming. They explained about the work culture and the work which would be given to deal with. Few case files were given to analyse and understand.

First Day Formalities: No such formalities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is accommodating and well organised.

Main tasks

The main tasks included diverse subjects to work on, drafting, research work, filing of RTI applications, Bail Applications etc on Civil, Criminal and Environmental matters.

Attended and observed Court Proceedings on the cases I worked on which was altogether a huge learning experience.

Work environment and people

The associates and the Partners were very helpful and were amazing mentors. I could ask them my queries as many times as I wanted, they explained things in a very friendly yet professional way. Very much approachable.

Work environment was very pleasant.

Best things

The most appreciable thing was that there was no communication gap even with the partners at VSA Legal. Everything was so interesting. Especially the case on Microbeads: an adverse to the marine environment, which is first filed in India and the legal counsel for the same is VSA Legal.

Bad things

I didn’t find anything not good.

Biggest Lessons

Lessons I learnt were that successful litigation needs out of the box thinking, practical aspects of law are very different. Only if you enjoy your work, you wouldn’t find it hectic because time has no bar in litigation.b
