First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The first day we were asked to choose our preference by a senior partner of the firm and then according to our preference we allotted under different partners.

They were strict about the dress code, and maintaining the level of decorum in the office.

Main tasks

We were tasked with many activities starting from reading briefs and attending court sessions to serving legal notices, drafting power of attorneys and calculating the shares of a family disputes.

Work environment and people

The work environment is just perfect. The partners are humble and they focus more on making it an educative session rather than a professional one.

If you are unaware of a certain law they will teach you its application. However, they do expect you to research on it prior to them telling you.

Best things

The best things were that the partners do not discriminate whether you are from symbiosis or from an NLU but judges you on the basis of your performance in the work that they provide you.

Moreover, the firm pays for your lunch. The food you get around the high court area is very good considering the low rates.

Plus, after work you can always go to the prince ghat to relax.

Nothing as such.

Always work hard and keep believing in yourself. You will always come out on top. 🙂

Office Timings

9:30 to 5 is the official timing. However, you can leave if you finish early, which again is a rare case.
