Application Process
I sent my CV and bonafide certificate from the institution via post. You can also approach them directly with the bonafide certificate and ask for the dates. You need to apply early to get your slot.
Work Timings
Monday to Friday – 10.30 A.M. to 4.30 P.M.
Main Tasks
Interns get to do a lot of work. The dissertation work is done by the interns and other minor tasks like filling the forms, identifying copy marked petitions, helping the legal division in the form processing are mainly done by the interns.
You get to work under the legal division of the SHRC. You can witness the Court proceedings when it is in session. The Court is not in session on a regular basis. If you are lucky, you can witness one session during the internship.
Interns actually do a lot of work but no stipend is provided.
Best Things
Interns from other disciplines are also accepted. So you get to interact with them also and not just law students around you. They take in only a descent number of interns and is not crowded.
It was a friendly environment.
