First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Should be in formal dress with black tie and report on allotted time. Blazers are also compulsory.

Main tasks

Visit court proceedings with attorneys.

Research work finding supporting case laws for present cases.

Drafting of legal notices.

Work environment and people

Work environment was very good. People were really helpful. I enjoyed a lot.

Best things

All the lawyers very helpful. No one was strict. I learned a lot from as they were very helpful and always ready to help.

Bad things

There was strike for 1 day twice. Which was a not a good experience.

Stipend

No stipend

Biggest Lessons

Learned the art of cross examination. Came to know about the concept of witnesses turning hostile. I learned all the necessary proceedings before approaching a judicial bench.

Any Other Thing

No outside food was allowed in the office. So carrying lunch was compulsory.

I had local accommodation. But one can get pgs nearby very easily.

Office Timings

Court timings. 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Timings are relaxed. Depends on the work load.
