Application procedure

As Advocate CV Nagesh is a renounced and senior counsel  at the Karnataka High Court. The procedure of application was duly on the selection basis. But it was to be priory applied to the administrative department 3 months prior.

After the short listing, we received a confirmation call from the internship coordinator. Thereby including me, there was six other interns were selected from various other colleges.

Week 1

The week started off with small introduction cum interview session, where we were asked to introduce and share our knowledge with other associates. We were also briefed as to what is the firm mainly dealing in (criminal & litigation)

After our introduction session we were introduced to other associates as of working in different courts i.e. (civil court, CBI & session court). As an end to the first week, we had an idea as to different courts; also had an opportunity to witness proceedings in different court rooms of the session’s court. The major job description was for us to note down the leading case proceedings.

Week 2

In the beginning of the 2^nd week, we were giving different work as in FIR copy retention & client consultancy etc. We also started attending the High court proceeding by accompanying senior (C.V Nagesh) as in was a experiencing and learning opportunity

The work load was quite loaded comparing to 1^st week as we assigned with noting down many popular cases with their facts.

Week 3

This week was a very learning and crucial point in the whole working process as we were assigned under and learned counsel specialized in handling exclusive CBI cases. Had an absolute learning opportunity to meet high level officials and also deal many government officials (lokaiyata and CBI officials).

Lastly the work place and timings were of 8 hours as we had to attend court proceeding in morning and in the evening had to visit the office.
