Application Process
Students wishing to apply for our internship program may email their Curriculum Vitae to us at internship@saharay.com at least 6 weeks prior to the period during which they wish to intern.
Duration of internship and timings
One month of internship, six days a week from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Any delay in the aforesaid timing could make you answerable to the associate if caught or searched by any during or before reporting to the office i.e if you are stuck any where you need to be very smart. **Wink**
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is well maintained and large enough acquiring two adjacent floors in the same building, which is an laudable thing.
On my first day I was introduced to our head Adv. Avik Shah and various senior and junior associates working under him.
One was required to carry their own laptops and FICCI provided with their internet access, which could be obtained by filing the form given by the IT department of FICCI on your first day.
Main tasks
Our main task involved assisting our associates as well as searching various laws and related supporting case laws relating to west Bengal Land Reforms Act.
We even had to attend guest lectures by reputed Kolkata High Court Retired Judges to make us as well as the junior associates familiar and acquainted with various laws relating to the West Bengal Land Reforms Act.
Work environment and people
All the associated were very friendly and helpful. Interns had there separate cubical with super fast internet connection serving us at our laptops. Associates used to call us accordingly contacting us via telecoms provided on our cubical for assigning us with our works.
