Rautray & Co’s office is not too big, it’s in a big basement. Very nicely made though.

Two senior partners, two associates, 2 interns at all times pretty much, to my knowledge, two clerks.

Timings? Number of working days per week? 

10 to 6 pm, 6 days a week, but usually Saturday was a half-day.

Accommodation: how? where? reviews? 

You’ll have to manage your own. I stay in Delhi so, I traveled from home. But you can easily find accommodation for cheap prices.

First Impression? First day? Formalities? 

Rautray & Co doesn’t have many formalities. Work is given first day onwards itself, a small talk happens with both partners as soon as they get the chance to do so. First day was friendly and nice.

Main Tasks? 

Mainly research and case briefs, but the work was plenty, it also depends a lot on your own initiative.

Work Environment? People? 

Rautray & Co’s work environment is very comfortable, people are inclusive and friendly, everyone eats lunch together in the conference room, where discussions ensues often.

Best things? 

Everything was good about this internship, there was good work, the people were nice, and timings were comfortable too.

Things that could’ve been better? 

I would have liked a better variety of cases. I mostly worked on bank guarantees, property arbitration and a consumer case.

What did you do to chill? Co-interns?

Mid work talks, we went to nearby markets to grab lunch, or ordered in, Saket, Satya Niketan are close by so chilling is not an issue.

Rs. 3500 Per Month

Biggest lessons? 

That a lot depend on your own initiative to learn.
