First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The first day at RPA was full of enthusiasm and excitement. When we reached RPA, we met Lakshman Sir with whom we had a slight introduction. He then asked us to follow him whereby he took us to the office of ASP Mr. Saurabh Kothari.
After having an interaction with Kothari Sir we were assigned the work that we were supposed to do during that internship.
Main tasks
The internship at Rajasthan Police Academy helped us to explore the world of Policemen. During our internship we had to do a survey related to different aspects of Police.
We had a complete visit of the RPA campus and got to know the working of Police. Also we were taken to different police stations and to the Central Jail too.
These visits really helped a lot in understanding the police procedure.
Work environment and people
The people there used to treat us very humbly.
They were very supportive and helped us to gain the maximum from that internship.
Best things
Watching the real heroes of the nation doing parades was really a proud moment for us.
There used to come the Public Prosecutors who used to teach us the IPC and CRPC.
We were taught about the weapons and also it made us clear the procedure of the criminal law.
Bad things
This internship was full of excitement and thrill. Thus, found no such bad thing in it.

Biggest Lessons
This internship changed my perspective for the police. The level of hard work they do, the level of risk they take, is far beyond the expectations of a common man. Thus, that’s why they are called the real heroes of the nation.
