The office is divided into two: Corporate and litigation sectors, this is for Litigation sector.

Duration of internship and timings

17th December – 15th January, 10:30 – 6:30 pm

Timings basically depend on the work, it gets late at times.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The first impression of the office was pretty decent.

I was suppose to get a recommendation letter from my college stating I wish to intern there for the said time period, so I submitted it with an application stating you want to intern followed by a casual introduction.

The infrastructure is really nice and one tends to work with such a workplace.

Main tasks

The work was mainly research based and at times you were given some clerical tasks to do.

The place is really filled with opportunities , you need to go to the associates and ask work from them.

Sometimes you also accompany associates to the courts for the proceedings.

You need to present a PPT on the topic either you choose or the associate gives you at the end of your internship.

The associates give their feedback on it.

Work environment and people

The work environment was amazing, very warm.

The coffee which Vinod Kaka served kept us going.

This was my first internship at a firm, it was really very warm and made me work more, by the way the associates were helping us and after some days the associates and the interns used to chit chat over a coffee, the discussions on current topic made us more aware about it. the lunch hours helps us to socialize more.

Best things

The best thing about the intern was the very internship, my first law firm internship proved out to be a success, learnt the intricacies with the clerical tasks, for a fresher like me it was really an amazing experience and they give you a stipend as well that’s like a cherry on the cake,

Bad things

Only research based work makes it a little dull at times, this is the only bad thing I think, otherwise all in all it was great working there.

For anybody who is a fresher its the best internship one should really go for it.

Any Other Thing

The place offers you really nice locations to explore.

The office is in the heart of the city, go explore the nearby places, I am sure, you will not be disappointed.
