Application Process
At first we have to send an e-mail at nalsa1987@gmail.com with cover letter and our C.V attached to it and then the concerned authorities will inform us the joining dates.
Its basically on the basis of first come first serve preference.
Duration of internship and timings
The duration of internship was three weeks and the timings were from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
My first impression was really very good, there were no formalities as such also we were given orientation about the working of the national legal services authority, the infrastructure was quite good, the office was air-conditioned .
Main tasks
We were basically given legal aid petitions to address and suggest solutions to those petitions in the form of legal aid.
We were taken to Patiala House, Lok Adalats for making us aware about the actual court proceedings which was very different from what we see in TVs.
Work environment and people
Work environment was very good, there were interns from various law schools and we all interacted a lot with each other and the people in the office were very good, very friendly and always ready to help us be it what the problem is.
Best things
Best thing about this internship was that we were taken to all the big institutions of delhi like lok adalats, patiala house, supreme court, Tihar jail, juvenile justice board and parliament of India etc.
Bad things
There was nothing bad in this internship.

The biggest lesson which I learnt from my this internship was that it was an eye opener for me, because i learnt that sincere effort can take us too far
