Application procedure is really easy. You have to obtain a bona fide certificate from your Law College or School and along with your CV send to the Commission by hand or either by post.
I personally went to apply for internship. They take hardly two days to call you for internship.
Duration in weeks. Days of work per week. Timings.
5 days – Monday to Friday. Timings: 10 am to 5 pm.
First impression, first day, formalities.
First Day is usual not so much work load.
Friendly environment, everybody around is ready to help you.
I met my coordinator of C&I Cell and she in five minutes gave task to read a few books and know the daily work that the Commission carries out after break I was assigned my Counsellors with whom I have to work and she explained me my daily tasks and work.
Main tasks
Main task in my cell was to read out the complaints and works related to it.
Work environment, people.
Work environment at the National Commission for Women is very friendly your immediate bosses will be cool with you and explain you every work and you can easily ask them your queries.
The best things AND the bad things
Best Thing: All were friendly.
You get exposure to the core problems women facing in India and you get to know how everything works. You meet a lot of students from different law schools and colleges. And you can even visit near by places as Connaught place, Bengali Market even Chandni Chowk is just 10 minutes far.
Bad Thing: Nothing was bad except a few arrogant interns.
Stipend/month
No Stipend
Accommodation etc. What did you to do chill in and around the office and the place of stay?
I am a Delhite so I don’t have to search for accommodation, metro is nearby so you can easily fetch metro and come and go to work. I used to go to Bengali market for fun with friends.
