First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the first day of my internship, I had an interaction with the head of the firm, who assigned me the work after introducing me to the other associates there at the office.

The firm has a big and nice infrastructure and has a separate space for interns.

Main tasks

The main task at the firm was to find the relevant case laws for the different civil and criminal matters. We were also given the drafting work to do. Also, we used to read the files of which we had to prepare the briefs.

In the free time we used to read different books, bare acts, etc.

Work environment and people

The working environment of the office was good. The associates in the office used to guide us and were very relaxed and supporting.

Best things

The best thing of this internship is that you get a chance to enhance and sharpen what you have learnt from your college studies. Thus, this internship helped me to make new friend, new contacts and to learn new explanation and interpretation of the law in the practical world.

Biggest Lessons

The biggest lesson was that success should not be the motive of an individual, rather excellence should be. If you will work for excellence, you will definitely be successful one day.
