First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Although it is a bungalow converted into the office but the office is huge. It was a little difficult to find the exact location of the office. I was little nervous as it was my first internship in a firm. I was asked to sit with other interns and fill a form.

We were then asked to assemble in the conference hall where a brief induction programme was held.

We were asked about our field of interest and accordingly the assignments were given. We were then directed to move to the office where the interns had to sit every day.

Main tasks

Had to go to associates in order to take assignments. Research work related to company law and family law. On the last day interns have to give a presentation on a topic, the topic was given to us after 3 days of our joining. I was asked to present on Corporate Social Responsibility under 2013 Act.

Work environment and people

Typical professional environment, there is not much interaction with the associates but as there are good no. of interns you get to make many new friends. As interns have a separate office there is no as such check as to what were have been doing through out the day. We had to sign the register to mark our attendance daily.

Best things

Tea is served twice a day.

Amazing library and the co-interns.

Bad things

Work was allotted to me after many reminders, there was dearth of work and no stipend so had to bear all the expense.
