First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day: On reaching office, I had to fill a form with my general information.
There are two separate offices- main office and branch office which is just on other side of road. Interns sit in branch office which has nice infrastructure.
Environment is very healthy and formal. The best part is interns are guided properly and every query is sorted leaving no discrepancy in ones mind.
On reaching office, the first impression was great. I was asked to wait in conference hall.
No work was allotted on first day!
Main tasks
Every day a new research work is given.
On day 2, a presentation topic is allotted which is supposed to be presented on 30th day.
I was allotted “The Trademark Act 1999” to research on.
The expectations are that presentation should have more practical approach. The presentation should have uniform format for better effect.
Work environment and people
Everyone was nice with me.
Best things
Interning in a prestigious firm like Maheshwari & Co. is in itself a best thing. Apart from this, the work environment and the tasks assigned were the best things about the internship in the firm.
Co interns were also very helpful and they made work not a burden but a challenging task which instilled good working spirit, as this was my first internship.
