Duration and Timings

I had interned there for a month (July), but you are free to apply for any month and any length of time.

The office hours are really comfortable 4 pm to 8 pm. Also, You will be made to visit Courts (District Court as well as High Court), timings of which generally are before 1:30 pm.

First-day impression, Infrastructure and formalities

The day I joined the office, it felt like I left one home to just reach another one. There was no formalities, all you have to do is to just report in and the Advocates present there will help get you accustomised to the other office workers and The Senior Advocate.

The office is lavish and beautifully maintained, in addition to this interns will be given their own personal space to work.

The office had all the books you will ever need, and every intern is free to use them and study whatever he/she feels like.

Main Tasks

The work mainly depends on what kind of cases the firm is dealing with during your time of internship. It varies from criminal cases to civil cases to Income tax cases and so on, so far. Interns are guided through the entire case and proceedings, they are made to read files related to subject matter and then help advocates to prepare notices, list of dates etc.

Interns are free to put up their point of view and doubts, if any, which are very kindly dealth with the advocates. Also, During the internship each intern will be given with a individual assignment whcih they have to submit at the end.

Work Environment and Co-workers

This internship had given me one of the best working environment. The co-workers and advocates are always keen to help.

They guide the interns throughout their working period and make them feel like home. Even the Senior most Advocate is so kind hearted and always ready to help interns in any matter of doubts or queries.

Stipend

Depends on how well an intern work . Stipend is discretionary.

If anyone is planning to do an internship in Jaipur, On a personal note; this a worth doing internship. With best lawyers, best co-workers and best office environment. A complete learning package.
