First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
I had to meet the judge , meet his personal assistants followed by proceedings in the court. Later that day I went back to the chamber of honorable judge and read cases and judgments.
Main tasks
1. Observing cases with regard to writ petitions and criminal appeals
2. Reading cases and judgements of the cases observed in the court session
Work environment and people
Since I got the opportunity to work with honourable Justice CT Selvam and his personal assistants and the court staffs I got to learn a lot about the court procedures. With regard to the people I felt like home as they were all down to earth and very much interested in helping me to learn
Best things
Best part of the internship was the court observing session after which when time permits I used to discuss with the justice with regard to the proceedings in the court.
