Application Process
I applied online with my cover letter and CV and got a prompt reply. I was asked to send across a writing sample and soon got a response from them.

Duration of internship and timings
I interned for 3weeks (approx) and it being an online internship, there was no fixed timings.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
I was given the opportunity to work with the IDIA Research and Policy Team and thus, I was intimated about the type of work that I will be doing.
Main tasks
It was absolutely a research-based internship. I was asked to research on various topics and prepare reports.
Preparing questionnaires and writing articles were also a major part of the internship.
Work environment and people
It being an online internship, I was given the chance to work in the comfort of home. The internship was supervised by Mr. Diwakar Kishore who is absolutely brilliant to work with.
He was really prompt with the feed backs and was ready to help me with the work at any hour of the day.
Best things
It was a great opportunity to work on my research skills and the valuable inputs from the supervisor was indeed a learning experience.

Online internships can be highly productive, if done in the proper manner.

Working with IDIA is an experience that one is going to cherish for a long while, so this is definitely not something that you would like to miss. Grab the first chance that comes your way and then there is simly no looking back.
