In order to secure internship in the firm one can drop down his/her CV accompanied with a write-up of about 100 words stating how the person will be fruitful to the organisation.

The office runs 5 days a week from 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 PM.

First impression, first day, formalities

Though I was very anxious and nervous for the first day but the office staff and superiors were very kind patient and amicable, very formal and professional interaction at workplace.

My mentor Mr. Rahul Gaba, was a cheerful person and very helpful.

Main tasks

ICF International is a consultancy firm , providing solutions to its clients on vast number of platforms including Energy, Climate Change, Logistics and Oil & Gas sectors.

Therefore, the tasks was to provide tailor- made solutions and advise to the clients which included big names, government, international organisations and MNC’c eg. MP Government, UNICEF, United Nation, Shell, A2Z etc.

I was in the Energy and Fuel Department and was dealing wil all regulatory issues in Electricity areana. Primary task was to analysis Judgments, guild-lines and notifications of The Supreme Court and Central Electricity Regulatory Comission

Work environment, people

The Environment is very progressive and dynamic at the work place. Timely assignments were assigned with added to the knowledge and were very diverse at times.

Accommodation etc. What did you to do chill in and around the office and the place of stay?

I use to stay with my friends near green park metro station and the firm is situated near Patel Chowk metro station at walking distance, hence travelling and accommodation was not an issue for me.
