Duration of internship and timings

I did my internship from 18th January, 2016 to 19th February, 2016.

One month or a time period of three weeks is sufficient.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

As it is an NGO uniform is not necessary but the casual attire should be decent.

First day was pretty good as they quickly assigned me to my work.

Main tasks

I was assigned to a group where we were told to make TLMs, Video Presentation on Child Labor and related laws.

Work environment and people

The office environment is good. Staff members are pretty cooperative.

Best things

You get to do a lot of fieldwork, research and teaching the slum kids.

Bad things

Overall everything was well and good but if you are assigned to do fieldwork it may take a little physical strain to complete the task.

Stipend

This was an unpaid internship.

Biggest Lessons

It was a great experience working there. My communication skills and working as a team improved.

Accommodation

I was staying at my relative’s place.
