Duration of internship and timings
My internship was in the month of May, 2012. The timings are 9:30 am to 6 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
You have to wait at the reception to be introduced to Ms. Agarwal, who allots the team you are to work with and your designated workstation.
The office at Fox & Mandal, Kolkata is a little cramped but well planned with poor ventilation and an excellent centralised cooling system.
You are assigned your workstation and may commence work as soon as it is handed over to you.
Main tasks
I did not have much work as it was my second year, and I was quite inexperienced.
However, I was taken to court to observe procedural matters and had to help out with some drafting work for the litigation deed and some due diligence.
Work environment and people
It is a very relaxed work environment, which makes it all the more important to make an impression on your team so that you become the go-to guy/gal.
