Duration of Internship and timings
May 23, 2017 – June 24, 2017, 09:45 a.m.-05:45 p.m.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
At FICCI, on the first day, I had an interactive session with the seniors in the office where they asked me as to what all I know in the field of IPR law and what I am expecting out of this internship and was given a form to fill in order to get our laptop’s Wi-Fi registered.
The IPR division has a small space in Office but although it is small, it had a lot to learn.
Main tasks
My main tasks included:
Pharmaceutical Industry and IPR
IPFC centers
MSME’s and IPFC’s
Startups and IPR
Some cases
Open Innovation
On the last day we were told to fill a form for what you made a research paper on and a viva by the IPR head was also taken. Viva was very important as that will be added to your certificate.
Work environment and people
The work environment at FICCI IPR division was very good. Everyone in the office was friendly and was always ready to help. Even if you are not able to do a task or you need help, they were the entire time ready to help you.
I had my internship under the Research Associates, Shambhavi Parihar, and Namesha Sharma. Both of them were very helpful when it comes to working or even if you need any future advice.
Best things
The best thing about FICCI IPR division was that you get to do a variety of work, but yes, only if you want to work, you will learn a lot.
Bad things
There were not as such any bad things except the spacing problem.
Stipend
No stipend
Accommodation
I live in Noida, so metro was convenient for me.
Office Timings
The timings at FICCI was from 09:45 AM to 05:45 PM. Every Saturday used to be off.
