First day, Formalities and Impression
FCC has a decent office in the beautiful city of lakes, Udaipur, having a number of branches all over India.
On my first day I was assisted by the Junior counsellor and later met the founder of the NGO, Smt. Sushma Kumawat.
The junior counsellors explained me their work viz. visiting homes of the victims and the accused, maintenance of case registers, taking the counseling of both the parties, jail visits, court visits etc.
Main tasks
I was allotted the position of assistant counsellor in the office and my main tasks were assisting senior counsels, visiting homes of both the parties, analyzing the case, preparing a daily report, and assisting the senior-counselors during court hearings as well.
Good Things
The reason of doing my first internship at FCC was that I wanted to understand the working of family related NGOs and how they solve most of the disputes outside the courts. FCC is one such NGO.
The main aim of the NGO is saving families.
All the members are cooperative and dedicated.
