I mailed them first, then I got a call from the office saying that I need to go to their office for interview.

Then, they asked me some questions related to law and why I chose this profession and what I want to be, so on. The interview was for 15- 20 minutes. Then I got selected.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First day impression was good. As they directly gave me the cases to draft then we visited the sessions court Bhubaneswar. I got a lot of experience for the first day.

Then this continued for almost a month the work pressure kept increasing but the atmosphere in there was friendly so I enjoyed as well though I got scolding for my faults sometimes.

Main tasks

Drafting of cases, making briefs of the cases, date chart, finding relevant case laws or precedents, helping my seniors at certain places like pointing out minute differences between the provisions of law.

Work environment and people

The work environment was very neat and the people were very friendly. I enjoyed my internship there.

Best things

I found a case law which was perfectly precedent for a case which was presented in the court and was appreciated.

Bad things

I didn’t experience anything bad. Though I used to get bored sometimes as my seniors had to vist the court directly and early.

Biggest Lessons

That we make fault and we understand things, unless we experience it ourselves we take our senior’s advice lightly and we shouldn’t do that.

Any Other Thing

The library of the firm was awesome and I had to wear my uniform.
