Duration of internship and timings

May 5th- June 3rd (4 weeks).

Its 5 day week from 10 am – 7 pm.

If you stay far away you can leave an hour earlier.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The office is very posh and sleek in a fancy area in jubilee hills in Hyderabad.

We were introduced to all the associates and partners within the first few days of the internship.

Main tasks

The tasks were looking for case laws for the litigation department, summarising franchise agreements, leave and license agreements, and such agreements, some due diligence work, finding some provisions of an act.

To be frank there were numerous days where I sat without work.

Work environment and people

Some associates were friendly where as some were not.

There was an associate who discriminated between NLU and NON-NLU students which I faced for the first time and was taken aback!

Best things

Got an idea on the kinds of work a corp law firm does.

I had amazing co-interns so we had a good time together!

Bad things

You have to keep asking for work from associates.

Only some associates are actually concerned about giving work to interns.

Maybe the number of interns that they had taken was more than what they usually take so it was like that.

I think it depends on your luck if you are only 3 or less than that when you intern here.

We were 5 when I interned, so!
